Responsibilities
Your Qualifications
At least 5+ years of cinematic/games production experience working in technical art/rigging/animation.
Knowledge of human anatomy and animation principles.
Knowledge designing complex skeletons, control rigs, secondary animation.
Experience with procedural rigging.
Effective at communicating with different audiences: artists, engineers, managers.
Highly organized and with a careful attention to detail.
Proficient scripting/programming in Python
Experience with Autodesk Maya.
A willingness to jump into the unknown and help solve new problems to resolve technical challenges and limitations.
A Passion for Games!
Great To Have
Experience with game engines (commercial or proprietary).
Experience with Houdini and Vellum - Cloth/Muscle simulation.
Experience with Git and code review.
Experience with / understanding of 3D mathematics.
Familiarity with motion capture (data + acquisition).
knowledge of Houdini VEX/Hscript a bonus.

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$141,400 - $204,400 CADPay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees.
