Serve as a trusted advisor on the capability integration of complex electro-optical, RADAR, and radio-frequency technology into existing and future DoD and IC systems.
Lead engineering assessments with company subject matter experts in modeling and simulation, information systems, software development and mission payload data.
Cooperate and communicate frequently with FFRDC, SETA, mid-level, and senior government officials to coordinate and report progress, issues, and results
Work with industry, government program offices, and labs to identify promising emerging technologies for rapid integration into advanced weapon systems.
Contribute to a government program office that works across the IC, DoW, and multiple agencies to define project scope and technical deliverables
Bachelor's degree OR Advanced degree in a STEM area
Minimum 12 years working with the DoW and/or IC to develop, design, and or test air, ground or space systems.
Minimum 3 years working in the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) on its space and ground architecture to meet warfighter requirements.
Experience in government program management environments, including the ability to work all phases of design and system acquisition.
Cooperate and communicate frequently with industry, other FFRDCs, SETA, mid-to-senior government officials to coordinate and report progress, issues, and results.
Willing to travel d omestically approx. up to 10% of the time
This position requires a current and active TS/SBI/SCI security clearance and polygraph, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance

The National Systems Group serves as the technical advisor to the Intelligence Community and its mission partners involved in the collection and distribution of national and tactical intelligence, including electronics programs, advanced technologies, ground and communications, imagery programs, and systems engineering and launch.
The Advanced Mission Integration Division is at the forefront of integrating and maturing IC and DoW capabilities for the joint warfighter. This is your opportunity to directly influence and advise on the design, requirements, and evaluation of warfighter systems reliant on capabilities delivered by space and ground systems. The focus of the role is to get DoW, IC, and commercial data to warfighters faster through innovative ways. You will significantly contribute to influencing projects for an IC and DoW government customer.
The selected candidate will be required to work 100% on-site in a government office full-time in Chantilly, Virginia with occasional meetings at two other sites in the local area.
