Motorsports Design Engineer

Onsite: This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Concord, NC on a full-time basis. GM Motorsports competes at the highest levels of global racing, supporting programs across NASCAR, IndyCar, IMSA, WEC, and Formula 1. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled CAD Engineer to join our elite engineering team. In this role, you will design and develop race car components and systems across the full product lifecycle, from initial concept through production and trackside application. You will create and refine advanced designs, leverage finite element analysis (FEA) to optimize performance, and contribute to cross-functional design reviews to ensure technical excellence. This position offers the opportunity to directly impact on-track performance, with occasional involvement supporting end users and customers post-delivery to ensure components meet the highest standards of reliability and performance in demanding race environments.
