DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Facility Cleaning and Sanitation: Perform thorough, deep, evening cleaning and sanitizing of restrooms, locker rooms, and shower areas, ensuring high standards of hygiene. Disinfect high-touch surfaces, sweep, mop, scrub floors, and clean interior glass and mirrors for a polished, professional appearance. Empty and reline trash and recycling receptacles across the facility. Production Floor Cleaning: Conduct deep cleaning in production and maintenance areas, including scrubbing, degreasing, and pressure washing of floors and walls. Support major plant cleaning projects, shutdowns, and seasonal maintenance to maintain a safe and compliant industrial environment. Common Area Maintenance: Deep clean and sanitize breakrooms, cafeterias, and vending areas after shift operations. Wipe down tables, chairs, countertops, and appliances; refill soap, sanitizer, and paper products; and ensure these shared spaces are ready for the next workday. Emergency and Special Projects: Respond promptly to sanitation or spill emergencies during evening operations. Assist in plant-wide cleanup efforts, special projects, and outdoor housekeeping tasks such as maintaining entryways and walkways free of debris or oil residue. Supplies and Chemical Handling: Monitor cleaning product levels and communicate replenishment needs to supervision. Safely label, store, and use all chemicals and equipment in compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies. Safety and Compliance: Follow all facility safety protocols, wear appropriate PPE, and report any spills, leaks, or equipment malfunctions immediately.
