Physical Security Specialist

About the role

You will serve as a Physical Security Specialist in the Commander Navy Installations Command (CNIC) of NAVBASE CORONADO SEC DET. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Experience preparing threat assessments for personnel and assets which have anti-terrorism responsibilities; 2) Experience updating plans, manuals, and instructions to provide recommendations regarding changes to security specifications; 3) Experience conducting classroom, formal, and informal training on crime prevention and physical security awareness programs; 4) Experience serving as a Loss Prevention Technical Specialist/Security Advisor for the installation during meetings.
