About the role

This position is located at Fort Polk, Louisiana, Morale, Welfare and Recreation - Business and Recreation Division Lead a team of individuals dedicated to providing recreational opportunities, maintaining health and physical fitness programs to better the lives of our military and their families. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Directly related progressive work experience directing one or more recreations programs that provided knowledge of the goals, principles, methods and techniques of recreation and an understanding of the interest of individuals or groups and managerial experience of the caliber described above. Experience must have been equivalent to the next lower pay level. Highly Preferred Qualifications At least two (2) years experience supervising and leading teams At least two (2) years experience executing recreational programs, activities, and events. At least two (2) years overseeing recreational facilities and equipment maintenance /replacement programs. **This announcement is inclusive of established Highly Preferred criteria.
