Reporting to the Director, Sustainability , you will be central to the quality, consistency and evolution of the organization's ESG disclosures, while contributing to structuring initiatives that support its long‑term sustainable performance. What you will accomplish with us Non‑financial disclosures As Practice Lead, you will play a key role in the quality, reliability and evolution of the organization's ESG disclosures. Specifically, you will be responsible for: Planning, coordinating and contributing to the production of the organization's main non‑financial disclosures, including the annual sustainability report and the climate report , in accordance with applicable frameworks and standards. Advising the organization on the strategic content of ESG disclosures , including the management proxy circular, annual reports and other documents intended for internal and external stakeholders. Establishing, maintaining and evolving robust, consistent and auditable non‑financial reporting processes , including guidelines or policies as required. Supporting iA's positioning with ESG rating agencies , ensuring that their assessments accurately reflect the organization's performance and practices. Reviewing and advising internal partners regarding voluntary or mandatory reports , as well as certain sustainability certifications . Contributing to the drafting of strategic documents and communications for senior management, the Board of Directors and other key audiences. Advisory, support and training You will support the organization in the concrete, consistent and credible integration of ESG best practices by: Advising the business on complex ESG issues , emerging regulations and growing expectations related to governance and transparency. Contributing to the evolution of the organization's sustainability policy and program . Developing and delivering training sessions on key topics such as greenwashing and social washing . Supporting stakeholders to strengthen best practices, encourage knowledge sharing and assist in the implementation of sustainable practices. Supporting the integration of ESG criteria into strategic activities, including due diligence (M&A) and responsible procurement . Governance You will also contribute to strengthening the cross‑functional integration of sustainability into iA Financial Group's governance practices and mechanisms by: Collaborating on the improvement of governance practices and structures to ensure the effective and sustainable integration of ESG issues. Deploying, maintaining and evolving guides, processes and policies related to sustainability, responsible investment, human rights and other key issues. Providing strategic interpretation and advice , grounded in sound judgment, regarding regulatory frameworks and emerging trends. Working closely with the Legal Department and other key functions to ensure alignment and robustness of adopted approaches. What could accelerate your success in this role We are looking for someone who: Holds a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline. Has a minimum of 8 years of experience , including 3 to 5 years in sustainability, governance or non‑financial reporting . Demonstrates an excellent understanding of non‑financial disclosures in a public company context . Exhibits strategic thinking , strong business acumen and the ability to address complex issues with rigor and sound judgment. Has excellent communication, writing and interpersonal skills , with the ability to interact effectively with senior stakeholders. Is proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Assets include: A relevant professional designation or membership (law, audit, accounting). Experience within a financial institution or a publicly listed company . Knowledge of ESG rating agencies , sustainability certifications or assurance processes . Advanced knowledge of both English and French is required, as the individual will be expected, several times a week, to interact with unilingual English and French speaking partners and colleagues, and to draft or analyze business documents, including those involving subsidiaries located in Canada and the United States.
