About the role
You will serve as a LEAD CONTRACT SPECIALIST in the CNO Procurement Branch (Code 420), within the Combatant Contract Admin Division (Code 426), of the Contracts Department (Code 400) of MID ATLANTIC REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CTR. In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience managing the complete lifecycle of government contracts, including pre-award planning, solicitation, negotiation, and post-award administration. Experience conducting cost and price analysis for complex contract actions and documenting negotiation outcomes. Experience providing guidance, training, or mentorship to junior-level contract specialists on contracting processes and complex actions. Experience applying knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and its supplements to manage complex procurements. Experience utilizing procurement systems such as the Standard Procurement System (SPS) or Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) for contract-related functions. Experience conducting scoping conferences, negotiation sessions and mentoring and training subordinate employees and interns.
