Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot test failures and provide clear, accurate rework instructions

  • Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain:
  • U.S. government security clearance (Secret)
  • ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives) access
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

  • Hands-on hardware integration and troubleshooting experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Experience with technical documentation and writing

Production Test Engineer (PTE) Salary: $120,000 - $130,000 annually w/ full benefits Location: Tucson, AZ (On-site - Raytheon Facility) Schedule: Full-time, 9/80 work week (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Clearance: Active Secret clearance required (must be able to obtain/maintain) Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required Position Overview The Production Test Engineer (PTE) supports manufacturing test operations throughout the product lifecycle, including development, transition to production, sustained production, and depot activities. This role is responsible for validating hardware against technical data requirements, troubleshooting test failures, and driving improvements in test processes, efficiency, yield, and capacity within a manufacturing environment.
