Facility: Dayton Children's - Main Campus Department: Dr. Cox Schedule: Full time Hours: 40 Job Details: Dayton Children's Hospital, a freestanding, independent, Level I trauma center children's hospital in Dayton, Ohio, is recruiting for a full-time Pediatric Palliative Care Physician Leader to serve as Division Chief of Pediatric Palliative Care. Department Specific Job Details: Position details include: Dedicated Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with experience in pediatric palliative care Consultative inpatient and ambulatory care Home Care based program for patients nearing end-of-life Dedicated social work support Multi-disciplinary support from chaplain services, child life, and psychology Supportive and nurturing environment with staff and other subspecialties Candidate Qualifications Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship, Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Hospice and Palliative Medicine Eligible for or able to obtain an unrestricted Ohio medical license MD or DO candidates will be considered. Demonstrated leadership ability or strong interest in program development and mentorship.
