Job Overview/Summary : With the support of Education Manager at the field office, the Community Mobilization Officer will work in supporting community-based implementation of education activities strengthening participation of children, caregivers, volunteers, and local stakeholders to improve equitable access to safe, protective, inclusive, and quality learning opportunities for children and adolescents at target areas. The role works closely with communities' volunteers, local stakeholders, and project teams to strengthen community participation, increase awareness of education-related issues, and support effective delivery of project activities in a timely manner. The position contributes to mobilization, monitoring, reporting, safeguarding, and community engagement processes to ensure community participation, and education interventions respond to the needs of children and affected communities. Major Responsibilities: Community Mobilization and Engagement Lead community mobilization activities to encourage participation in education interventions at SHLS and facilitation of community meetings, awareness sessions, and outreach activities to promote education access, protection, and child well-being. Promote the children to have access to safe, protective, inclusive, and quality learning environment with the support of Education Manager. Build effective relationships with community leaders, caregivers, volunteers, and local stakeholders and maintain engagement with SHLS. Support the formation and strengthening of community-based structures, including parent groups and community committees where applicable. Promote meaningful participation of children, caregivers, and community members throughout project implementation. Program Implementation Support Support implementation of education activities in accordance with approved workplans and project targets. Coordinate beneficiary identification, registration, attendance tracking, and follow-up of participating children. Maintain accurate records of communities' activities, attendance, beneficiary information, and outreach data. Coordinate with relevant focal people at field office to have effective and safe delivery of SHLS's learning sessions, distributions of education provisions. Contribute to strengthening integrated programming with other sectors where relevant (e.g. service mapping, referral pathways and response mechanism) Assist in ensuring learning environments remain safe, inclusive, and accessible to children, team members and community participants. Monitor children participation and identify barriers affecting attendance and ensure engagement with community stakeholders to enable learning continuity. Provide technical assistance to enhance field-level engagement and ensure meaningful and inclusive participation of community stakeholders throughout program implementation. Coordination and Stakeholder Engagement Coordinate and represent at camp or village-level coordination meetings with community representatives, camps leaders, and other humanitarian peers for the updates on community concerns, emerging needs, and implementation progress. Support referral and linkage mechanisms for children requiring additional education or protection services. Monitoring, Reporting, Accountability, and Safeguarding Collect and compile field data and support routine monitoring and reporting requirements. Support routine monitoring and reporting of project activities and contribute to program learning and quality improvement efforts. Document lessons learned, community feedback, and success stories to support program learning. Participate in regular team meetings and learning workshops and share implementation challenges and recommend actions to improve program quality. Promote safeguarding, Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), confidentiality, and Do No Harm principles across all activities. Ensure adherence to the organization's Code of Conduct and accountability commitments to affected populations.
