Description of Work Unleash your potential and make an impact! Primary purpose for this position is to perform complex consultative services and technical assistance work. Work involves planning, developing, and implementing the STARBASE and STARBASE 2.0 (After-school) programs and providing consultative services and technical assistance to program staff, governmental agencies, community organizations, and the public. Performs internal/external communications and social media work for the STARBASE Programs and Director including preparing documents, receiving visitors and telephone calls, preparing correspondence, and assisting with a variety of presentation materials. May provide guidance to others. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with State Benefits, including paid vacation, paid sick leave, paid holidays, retirement, and health insurance. Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences Recruitment Range: $41,206.00 - $50,000.00 DPS uses the Merit-Based Recruitment and Selection Plan to fill positions subject to the State Human Resources Act with the most qualified individuals. The Minimum Education and Experience (E&E) is REQUIRED to qualify for this position. Management Preferences, including Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs), are not required but may be used to determine the pool of most qualified applicants.
