Ensures overall compliance of Ledcor's health, safety, and environmental standards as well as occupational health and safety regulations daily
Demonstrates ability to lead teams effectively in the day to day execution of the work by managing resources, materials, and labour
Reports to the Superintendent any problems or unforeseen issues that could affect the project plan
Trains, supports and offers ongoing guidance to all crew members
Completes daily paperwork and involved in conducting daily toolbox talks
Complete tasks safely, efficiently, and within project deadlines, following Ledcor's high standards for safety and quality
Qualifications & Requirements
Journeyperson Carpenter with 2-3+ years' experience in a leadership role
Experience working on major infrastructure and bridge projects highly desired
Ability to adapt information and communication style to the audience
Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean 3-year driver's abstract
CSTS-2020 Fundamentals, WHMIS 2015, ESC Fall Protection, Confined Space and Elevated Work Platform, Ground Disturbance L2 (training provided)
Work Conditions
Monday to Friday, 10 hours per day with potential overtime required weekdays and on the weekend
Work in all weather conditions year-round and willing to lend a hand where needed
