Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Write a high volume of RFPs for Equity strategies across our global institutional and retail channels, and support other asset classes as needed.
Liaise with various departments throughout the firm to collect information needed to respond to requests, including but not limited to portfolio management, product management/marketing, legal, operations, AUM reporting and performance.
Create and maintain RFP language and content for assigned strategies of coverage, including investment process, research process, team information, and competitive advantages.
Maintain consistent product messaging and updated product language in our RFP database.
Collaborate directly with Product Managers, Portfolio Managers, Research Analysts, Traders, and others to update existing RFP language and develop new language.
Customize final documents to reflect a nuanced and targeted response to the specific sales opportunity.
Handle follow-up work associated with RFPs moving to the next phase: coordinating answers, additional information, etc.
Oversee production of final proposals (formatting, technical editing and reproduction).
Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously to meet strict deadlines.
Field ad-hoc questions from our Client Response Center Team daily, as needed.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
Knowledge of the Equity and the asset management industry.
Detail-oriented with excellent project management and organizational skills; able to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks to ensure that complex projects are completed by deadline, with interim review steps incorporated.
Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a large global organization.
Demonstrated desire and ability to learn technical info, including philosophy, research and investment processes of our products.
Demonstrated initiative and good judgment as well as the ability to work well under pressure and with time constraints.
Interest in and ability to interact directly and effectively with Sales Advisors, Portfolio Managers and other investment professionals.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, and possess the ability to quickly master internal systems and applications.
