Role Overview
Join Boston University Hillel as our Operations Coordinator and help keep our space welcoming and working well for students. This role is great if you have a little work experience and enjoy hands-on tasks that make events and everyday life run smoothly. Our building gets over 30,000 student visits a year-four floors with programming space, dining, lounges, and offices-so you'll be part of a busy, friendly place on campus.
You'll work with the Chief Operating Officer and the rest of the staff to support daily operations and programs. This position is a strong entry-level (or re-entry) opportunity in a university setting, Jewish communal work, or nonprofit environment, with chances for mentorship and professional growth.
This is a full-time, in-person position. Typical hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, with occasional evenings or weekends (about 1-2 per month). Coverage for major Jewish holidays-especially Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and Passover-is required for program support.
