About the role
The Solution Designer serves as a critical bridge between business strategy and technical implementation for the Customer Onboarding and Mastering (COM) platform. This role is responsible for translating complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable solution architectures across all COM sub-domains including Customer Onboarding, Customer Mastering, Identity Verification (IDV), Customer Data Refresh (CDR), and Corporate & Institutional (CI) transformation. Key Accountabilities Solution Design & Architecture : Critically analyze business requirements and COM systems to design enterprise-grade solutions that balance technical excellence, security, scalability, and business value. Create comprehensive design artifacts, architectural diagrams, and technical documentation that guide implementation teams. Technical Leadership & Proof of Concept : Apply systems thinking and design thinking methodologies to assess impacts across the COM ecosystem. Undertake proof-of-concept builds when required to validate architectural decisions and de-risk implementation. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication : Effectively communicate complex technical concepts and design decisions to diverse audiences including Heads of Technology, Engineering Managers, Product Owners, Tech Leads, Testing Teams, and Technology Executives. Serve as a trusted advisor who can translate between business and technical domains. Platform Advocacy & Strategic Influence : Champion platform-thinking principles by designing reusable, extensible solutions that drive consistency and efficiency across the organization. Provide strategic input to Technology Leadership on architectural direction, technical debt, and platform evolution.
