In this Manager, Financial Planning role, you will: Manage the department with respect to workflow, production, and quality standards, including financial planning, forecasting, and analytical deliverables Review and participate in budget and financial forecast processes, including annual budgets and periodic forecast updates Review and analyze reports, records, and directives, and confer with staff and business partners to obtain data required for planning and forecasting activities Evaluate and update policies and procedures of the department to improve quality and ensure compliance with all related laws, regulations, and executive orders Prepare and analyze reports on departmental and organizational activities, including variance analysis and performance trends, and recommend improvements Disseminate relevant financial and operational information to business unit leaders to support effective decision-making Additional Responsibilities: Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, workforce capacity planning, and business performance analysis Partner with operational leaders to translate business demand forecasts into staffing and financial plans aligned with organizational objectives Analyze workforce, operational, and financial performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement Prepare and present financial analyses, forecast updates, and variance explanations, clearly identifying key drivers impacting performance Support scenario planning, proformas, and business case development to evaluate operational initiatives and financial impacts Develop reporting and insights to improve visibility into financial performance, workforce utilization, and productivity outcomes Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 4+ years of experience in public accounting or related field. Previous experience as a lead in a functional area, managing cross-functional teams on large-scale projects or supervisory experience including hiring, training, assigning work, and managing performance of staff. Experience in the healthcare industry preferred. Fundamental understanding of financial planning systems, with advanced Excel or financial modeling experience preferred.
