[What the role is] NHB's Education & Community Outreach Division promotes awareness and engagement with heritage among Singaporeans. The successful candidate will be part of a team that oversees NHB's signature outreach initiatives, programmes and projects to document, research and promote public awareness and appreciation of Singapore's heritage. [What you will be working on] Project Management Supervise and guide a team to plan, develop, deliver and evaluate NHB's Heritage Activation Nodes (HAN) initiative as part of Heritage Plan 2.0. This includes collaborating with community groups to co-develop heritage programmes and projects, ensuring they are aligned with NHB's community outreach objectives, and completed on time, within scope, and on budget. Lead and manage cross-functional teams to ensure project completion, pre-empting risks and developing mitigation plans to safeguard implementation success. Oversee the HAN budget and develop frameworks and processes for efficient cost data collection, evaluation and validation. Review progress and performance of individual programmes and recommend actions for improvement. Programme Evaluation and Planning Oversee the HAN's performance and conduct relevant reviews to ensure the initiative's success and sustainability. Develop compelling value propositions for partners and the community to come on board NHB's initiatives, and regularly reach out to new partners to identify additional resources required. Mobilisation and Partnership Development Identify, cultivate and nurture strategic partnerships with community groups, grassroot leaders and other relevant stakeholders to support HAN and other community outreach initiatives. Strategy and Team Development Support the Deputy Director for Community Engagement and Outreach in developing community outreach strategies that promote/encourage active citizenry in heritage, so as to build a stronger, more resilient and cohesive Singapore. This includes the development and implementation of new heritage initiatives, programmes and projects for the community. Foster team excellence and oversee staff professional development. Undertake other ad-hoc initiatives, programmes and projects as assigned by the Deputy Director for Community Engagement and Outreach. [What we are looking for] Preferably at least 8-10 years of working experience with at least 5 years of experience in community engagement on cultural matters in Singapore with a good network of contacts at the grassroot and community level. Possess excellent partnership development, presentation and project management skills, and can engage with stakeholders from different sectors, in addition to those in the heritage sector. Experience in supervising and leading small teams. Proactive and resourceful, willing to be on the move and to work in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience on matters relating to government procurement and finance procedures, as well as grant administration, will be an advantage.
