Leads team that delivers configuration, testing, validation services and maintenance for Workday, our Human Resources Information System including, but not limited to, payroll, benefits, absence, compensation, talent acquisition, security, self-service, mobile, and integrations.
Drives issue resolution, enhancement solutions and prioritization in partnership with senior leaders, business and technology partners. Works closely with Workday vendor to handle day-to-day operations.
Partners and strategizes with leaders and internal customers to determine data and information needs, and the use of information to aid in making business decisions. Plans and supports current and new technology implementations.
Serves as Workday expert to provide customer support, analyze and resolve issues and errors, review reports, assess issue impacts and provide essential reporting for highly complex and confidential needs.
Partners with leaders and users to continuously improve service delivery. Responds to complex customer inquiries and supports the Associate Solutions Center for calls related to the system and certain processes.
Supports the deployment of feature releases and system maintenance, ensuring client requirements are met. Evaluates feasibility of system modifications and enhancements and consults with business partners for prioritization and implementation.
Leads associate management including performance, salary planning and administration, training and development, workflow and organization planning, day-to-day management, hiring and placement and disciplinary actions for direct and possibly indirect reports.
May perform other responsibilities and projects as assigned.
Reporting Relationships: Reports to the Associate Vice President, Human Resources Technology and Data Governance. Manages a team of HR technology professionals.
Typical Skills and Experiences:
Education: Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in multiple subject areas such as insurance, technology, human resources or financial business processes.
