Responsible for maintaining high pile aisleways and part stowage
Finding best spot for items in inventory, considering space utilization
Moving PN's to different locations as warehouse inventory fluctuates
Effectively managing "overflow" inventory
Responsible for managing inventory locators
Changing locator stock, descriptions, creating or removing inventory locators
Manipulating locators to match desired pick types.
Responsible for regular inspections of locators and aisleways
Auditing/updating locations in warehouse that improve safety, efficiency, and space utilization.
Gathering information from WMS to assist inspections.
Responsible for collaboration with warehouse staff
Support operations during peak hours or as needed.
Support TIP efforts when needed.
Requirements
A working knowledge of warehouse operations and safety standards.
Versed with computer systems, Oracle based systems/ERP systems knowledge preferred.
Previous experience in a maintenance or warehouse role is preferred.
Sufficient human relations skills to gain cooperation with others and convey technical information.
Proficient in reading, verbal, and written communication skills in English.
Associates degree preferred, with 1+ years of experience in process optimization or equivalent role.
Six Sigma/LEAN/TPS familiar
