Job Description Where fleet strategy becomes a competitive advantage There are executives who manage fleet and there are executives who transform it. Fox Rent A Car is looking for the latter, someone who walks into a room of operators, financiers, and OEM partners and speaks with the kind of confidence that only comes from years of living inside the numbers, the markets, and the decisions that make or break a fleet operation. This is that seat. Your Primary Focus Is To: Lifecycle & Asset Strategy: Own the complete in-fleet and de-fleet strategy. Partner with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) for procurement and design optimal hold periods to protect residual values. Remarketing & Sales: Oversee the strategic disposal of vehicles. Balance sales velocity, channel optimization (auctions, direct-to-consumer, wholesale), and regional demand to maximize total lifecycle value. Fleet Economics & P&L: Manage the multi-million-dollar fleet CapEx and operating budget. Analyze Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), contribution margins, and depreciation to guide pricing and operational strategies. Fleet Financials & Operations: Develop and maintain an annual budget and forecast related to fleet planning, DMV, roadside assistance, and administrative services. Maintenance & Readiness: Partner with Operations to set standards for preventative maintenance, safety, and regulatory compliance. Ensure fast turnaround times to minimize vehicle downtime and maximize daily rental utilization. Technology & Data Transformation: Champion the adoption of AI-enabled planning tools, connected car data, and telematics to improve forecasting, automate logistics, and optimize fleet distribution. Team Development & Leadership: Build a strong team by providing staff support, education, and training, and implementing best practices across the fleet department. Compliance & Governance: Ensure compliance with standards by liaising with internal and external auditors and with compliance and governance, as directed by Europcar Mobility Group practices. Perform other duties as assigned. Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Engineering; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of executive leadership in automotive, mobility, leasing, or the car rental industry. Proven P&L management experience is highly preferred. Strong quantitative foundation in financial modeling, forecasting, sensitivity analysis, and optimization logic. Deep understanding of vehicle lifecycle economics, residual value strategy, and OEM buy-back and used car market. Excellent cross-functional leadership skills to negotiate with vendors and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
