Shop/ Cafe Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and motivated Shop/Café Assistant with previous retail experience to join our team. You will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service, ensuring smooth daily operations, and creating a welcoming environment for our customers. Key Responsibilities and Requirements Greet and serve customers in a polite and professional manner Prepare and serve hot & cold drinks, food, and snacks Operate the till and handle cash/card transactions accurately Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the café/shop Replenish stock and ensure displays are tidy and attractive Assist with opening and closing procedures Handle customer queries and resolve issues efficiently Work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or a similar customer-facing role Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and multitask Basic cash handling and till experience Good understanding of food hygiene (training can be provided) Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours Why Bupa?
