Reporting to the Country General Manager and member of the Country Leadership Team, Business Unit Head, Hematology - Israel holds full accountability for the strategic execution, and performance of the local Hematology franchise. Along with extensive experience in portfolio management and the pharma industry, this role requires strong commercial acumen, strategic leadership and enterprise mindset to achieve portfolio P&L goals and ensure sustainable growth. This position will oversee the localization and implementation of the commercialization strategy for hematology assets, turning local insights into practical plans focused on market access and marketing aiming at expanding market share and drive operational excellence. Collaborating with the medical team, the position will be responsible of the positioning of hematology assets within the country. Oversees the sales and team, managing the end-to-end commercial lifecycle, from pre-launch planning and launch readiness to full commercialization and lifecycle management. Works closely with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Finance and Regulatory teams aa a local level, and with the Regional Commercial Team to identify and execute business opportunities. Essential Functions of the job: COMMERCIAL STRATEGY & LEADERSHIP Develop and execute commercial business plans for hematology assets, ensuring alignment with regional priorities Collect and analyse market dynamics to achieve sales, market shares and profitability targets Provide strategic insight and commercial direction to develop current and new business opportunities at a local level. MARKETING & SALES OVERSIGHT Direct Sales & Marketing operations by designing go-to-market strategy, leading the development and implementation of innovative marketing campaigns. Management of the field force Drive commercial excellence and ensure execution in the field in line with the commercial strategy Lead the annual Country Brand Plan and tactical execution For what is related to the hematology assets, Contribute to the affiliate's Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Range Plan (LRP), ensuring forecasts and strategic priorities reflect market potential and unmet needs for pipeline and commercial assets EXTERNAL CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT: Engage proactively with key external stakeholders, including national Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare providers, patient advocacy groups and institutional partners to ensure optimal product positioning Represent the company at industry conferences, meetings, and events, strengthening stakeholder relationships. CUSTOMER-CENTRIC APPROACH : Champion innovative, customer-centric commercialization and marketing programs, ensuring that customer feedback and insights are integrated into product development, local commercial strategies, and patient support initiatives. EFFECTIVE FINANCIAL PLANNING : Ensure financial planning is robust Review results/KPIs to identify variances and develop action plans to address issues Manage expenses to budget and deliver targeted profit contribution. CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Market Access, Medical Affairs, Finance and Regulatory ensuring an integrated approach to commercialization within the country and thus addressing market opportunities. As a member of the Regional Commercial Strategy Team (RST), collaborate and provide input to regional forums to operationalize and tailor global strategy to Regional needs MARKET INSIGHT & DATA-DRIVEN DECISION MAKING : Act as the primary conduit for gathering market intelligence, insights, and forecasts Translate data into action plans that drive business growth, competitive advantage and meet evolving market needs. TEAM MANAGEMENT & TALENT DEVELOPMENT : Attract, develop and retain top talent by promoting inclusive and people-oriented leadership and career development initiatives.
