Maintain client project financials, including budget management and billing rule setup and maintenance
Support media-specific financials - media plans/buys, vendor and media authorizations, and reconciliation of media spend against client budgets
Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts
Analyze staffing, utilization, and billability
Collaborate with Client Accounting to ensure clients are billed in a timely fashion and that billing complies with client contractual agreements, including media billing terms and reconciliations
Assist with AR, WIP, Accrued, and Deferred analysis
Collaborate with the rest of the Finance team
Knowledge and Critical Skills/Expertise
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration is required
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products - Excel, Word, and Outlook
Must possess sound judgment, be self-motivated, and have the ability to work independently
Deliver quality work
Adjust priorities to respond to pressing and changing demands; meet deadlines by managing time and priorities
Maintain working knowledge of functional area policies and procedures and general knowledge of company policy and procedures
Professional communication manner and the ability to triage messages when appropriate
Exhibit a positive, pro-active "can do" attitude with all team members and a willingness to pitch in whenever needed
Requirements
1+ years' experience in Client Finance / FP&A / Finance
Exposure to media finance, media billing, or agency media operations strongly preferred; experience with Mediaocean a plus
Experience with enterprise-level financial systems essential; NetSuite / OpenAir a plus
Experience working in an agency (media preferably) is essential
Pay Range: $50,000-$60,000
