Accounts Executive

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes to maintain accurate financial records
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations to verify and resolve discrepancies in financial accounts
• Prepare and process payments to suppliers on a monthly and ad-hoc basis to ensure timely settlements
• Process monthly staff claims accurately and in compliance with company policies
• Assist in the preparation and coordination of yearly statutory audits to support regulatory compliance
• Execute additional ad-hoc accounting duties as assigned to support the finance team's objectives
• Meet tight deadlines for monthly financial closing by organizing and prioritizing accounting tasks
• Work independently under pressure while maintaining meticulous attention to detail in financial data
• Required competencies and certifications
• Diploma in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification (as stated: "Min diploma in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification")
• Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience (as stated: "At least 3 years of book keeping experience")
• Preferred competencies and qualifications
• Good knowledge of accounting entries to accurately record financial transactions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve accounting issues
• Effective interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and external parties
• Demonstrated strong sense of responsibility and good working attitude to support team goals
