8+ years of experience with civil, water and wastewater construction projects.
Projects of the same type, e.g. road reconstructions, land development, water distribution systems, sewage collection systems, sanitary sewer rehabilitation projects, etc.
Ability to read and interpret Civil construction drawings and specifications.
Construction methods of open cut, vertical trenching and trenchless technologies.
Experience working around mobile heavy equipment.
Familiar with materials testing procedures and construction coordination services.
Proficient use of AutoCAD and Civil 3D is an asset.

AECOM is searching for an Inspector for municipal infrastructure projects. This is a full-time position based in Regina, SK . Projects primarily consist of road reconstructions, land development, water distribution, sanitary and storm sewers, and water resources/stormwater management. The successful candidate will be assigned to a project based on their skillset and area of expertise. Project assignments can be in and out of the Regina Region.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
On site liaison with contractor, client, other approving authorities, including addressing resident concerns.
Work closely with the Project Engineer and Project Manager, to ensure construction is in compliance with project specifications.
Preparation and maintenance of daily work logs and other project documentation and reporting.
Schedule and conduct regular project meetings with the contractor and client.
Provide clarification of drawings and direction to the contractor, with remote support from the Project Engineer.
Monitor conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties.
Carry out surveys and measurements for quantity calculations.
Complete surveys for the preparation of record drawings.
Participates in punch lists, testing, and commissioning.
Assist with the preparation of the Project Construction Completion and Final Acceptance Certificate.
Training of entry-level employees.
Will be required to follow AECOM Safety Policies and promote them by example.
Minimum Requirements:
4+ years of relevant experience in a field role on water infrastructure projects or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Valid driving license and access to a vehicle.
