Please see Additional Information section below.*** You will serve as a Shipboard Satellite Communications (SATCOM) ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN for Code 292 in the ENGINEERING & PLANNING DEPARTMENT Code 200 of NAVAL SHIP REPAIR FACILITY. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: forward deployed resident expert supporting SATCOM systems, equipment and components, comprehensive knowledge of the systems design, purpose, functions, limitations, operation, performance, safety parameters and maintainability and extensive practical/empirical background in solid state theory, RF transmission techniques, and digital data transmission techniques.
