Provide exceptional customer service by greeting, directing, escorting, and assisting patients, visitors, and families throughout the hospital and clinic.
Assist patients with wheelchair use, transport, and wayfinding while ensuring safety
Support check‑in processes for visitors and vendors and respond to customer questions, concerns, or needs using appropriate resources.
Maintain clean, clutter‑free entrances and notify Environmental Services or Security when additional support is needed.
Perform a variety of clerical duties, including basic computer use, paging, phone skills, and data entry for tracking logs and reports.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalency
1 year of experience working with the public
1 year of customer service or healthcare experience preferred
Basic computer skills is a plus!

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a friendly, service‑oriented Hospital Patient Attendant to join our team! In this role, you will warmly greet and assist patients, family members, and visitors while helping them navigate the hospital and clinic. You'll play an important part in creating a welcoming, supportive, and positive experience for everyone who enters our facilities.
What's Available:
0.8 FTE (32 hours weekly)
Shifts: Monday-Friday, 7 am-3:30 pm, every other weekend rotation required
Starting pay of $16.11+ more for experience!
