MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Has a fundamental responsibility to ensure product safety and quality as it applies to all duties listed below;
- Sort incoming dunnage for damage, broken, torn or otherwise unusable materials and segregate/label for disposition.
- Build proper stacks of dunnage for use on our downstreams. Units to be correctly stacked by number, height, weight, orientation etc. as specified.
- Load downstream unitizing areas with dunnage and manage the dunnage inventory to avoid running out.
- Capable of operating the palletizer, wrapper, bander etc. to ensure product is moving through per specification and a timely manner.
- Monitor and operate the blending area(s) for the designated lines. Asist and alert Utility Technician when further assistance is needed.
- Monitor the Downstreams of the designated lines.
- Clear bottle jams.
- Restart downstream equipment as needed.
- Rework bottles as needed.
- Work closely with the Operator to maintain production.
EDUCATION:
Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
