We unite cutting-edge media intelligence and data solutions, world-class creativity, next-generation production, transformative enterprise solutions and expert strategic counsel in a single company - powered by exceptional talent and our agentic marketing platform, WPP Open, to help our clients navigate change, capture opportunity and deliver transformational growth. For more information, visit WPP.com . VML MAP's Agentic AI Lab helps some of the world's largest brands figure out what AI means for their marketing organisations - from redesigning how teams work, to building new consumer experiences, to launching AI-powered tools and products. We are now looking for a student to support this work. Someone who can sit in a client strategy session in the morning, prototype a demo in the afternoon, and turn a brainstorming session into a polished deck by the end of the week. This is not a defined-lane role. You will move between strategy, storytelling, prototyping, workshops, and client delivery - often in the same week. You will use AI tools - Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor - as a first instinct, not a last resort. You will get direct exposure to recognised brands across industries such as FMCG, automotive, energy, food service, and retail from day one. Caught your attention? Keep reading! What will your day look like? Supporting the full stack of AI consulting from strategy to implementation, you will work on: Consulting and storytelling: Build and refine slide decks for client pitches, RFPs, and new business. Turn brainstorming sessions into structured first drafts. Prepare workshop materials and translate discussions into clear next steps. Project delivery: Synthesise insights from stakeholder interviews, help identify and prioritise AI use cases, and work with product and engineering teams to translate strategy into defined priorities. Building and prototyping: Co-develop AI demos and proof-of-concept experiences - from backstage solutions like data insights agents, to consumer-facing applications like voice agents. Independently test emerging Martech tools and return with structured learnings. Internal enablement: Support the design of internal AI pilots, write the briefs that get leadership buy-in, and contribute to measurement frameworks. Who are you going to work with? Navigating the organisation independently, you will be unblocking yourself and finding the right people without waiting to be guided. While doing this, you'll: Build first drafts of client-facing decks for RFPs, pitches, and use case presentations. Prototype AI demos using vibe coding and AI-assisted development tools, iterating until demo-ready. Use Figma to polish visual components and make materials genuinely client-ready. Synthesise stakeholder interview insights into use case frameworks and prioritisation inputs. Prepare workshop materials - Miro boards, facilitation guides, agendas - and support live facilitation. Draft project deliverables including engagement plans, capability briefs, and pilot frameworks. Test emerging AI and Martech tools and return with structured findings. Support internal enablement - business cases, pilot designs, and measurement models. What do you bring to the table? We are hiring for a mindset, not a background. You may be a master's student in management, business analytics, digital innovation, strategy and technology, philosophy, design, or computer science. Two of our AI consulting leads came from philosophy - so the right profile is not always the obvious one on paper. You should however have: A genuine AI-first working style: you reach for Claude or ChatGPT before Google, and you have built things with these tools - not just used them to clean up writing. The ability to turn a messy brainstorming session into a structured, compelling deck quickly. Comfort working in PowerPoint and Figma, or a clear drive to get there fast. Experience prototyping digital experiences using AI-assisted development tools - demos, side projects, anything real. Strong communication skills with an instinct for what lands with a senior business audience. High emotional intelligence: you read the room, manage up well, and know when to ask and when to act. A self-starter mindset - you unblock yourself and produce good work without hand-holding. Comfort with ambiguity and ability to deliver without a fully defined brief. What is also nice to have in this role: Experience building voice agents or ChatGPT-style applications. Familiarity with Martech platforms such as Adobe, Salesforce, or Braze. Experience designing or facilitating workshops. Some exposure to CRM, marketing automation, or customer experience programmes. A leader in personalized customer experiences VML MAP is a world-leading Centre of Excellence that helps businesses humanize the relationship between the brand and the customer through hyper personalization
