Meet the team: Dexcom's Global Product Design (GPD) is a multi-disciplinary team of user experience designers, visual designers, front-end software developers, prototype developers, instructional content designers and industrial designers who support the Dexcom product portfolio. Our GPD Studio in Vilnius is seeking a User Interface (UI) Designer with deep Design System experience to help grow the existing system and support product development at scale across multiple products. At Dexcom, you will use design to help improve the lives of our users by creating compelling experiences with our next-generation Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) system and our expansion into non-insulin products. We are passionate about quality, usability, and simplicity. As a member of the Design System team, you will help ensure that a cohesive visual identity is integrated throughout the development process. You will help us leverage our Design System, from high-level structures down to the single details of Figma components and libraries. Partnering with the Design Operations team, you will help us expand and evolve how the team can work more effectively using Figma and AI tools. Your work will impact all digital products across the Dexcom ecosystem. GPD is honored to be the recipient of 23 international design awards for our G7 product, including the iF Design Award, three Red Dot awards, and a gold IDEA award. Now you can help us revolutionize the glycemic wellness space as we expand GPD to Vilnius. Where you come in: You build and enhance UI components that align with our overall design language and comply with our accessibility standards You consistently refine the Dexcom design system language, visual design documentation, and specifications You continuously demonstrate mastery in the formal elements of design: color, layout, balance, proportion, rhythm, typography, iconography, emphasis, and unity You collaborate closely with R&D to make sure developers are given all needed visual design specs, then ensure that designs are implemented as intended across iOS, Android and Web apps You collaborate closely with the UI app design team to understand their need to translate requirements into intuitive and visually appealing interface designs that fit into our design system logic You guide other stakeholders to make visual design decisions for mobile/wearable interfaces to follow our design system guidelines What makes you successful: You are fluent in Figma and confidently design using Auto Layout, component properties and variants, interactive components, Variables, and theming/modes, while maintaining organised libraries and clean file hygiene. You are familiar with standards and best practices for building scalable design systems using design tokens and shared libraries. You demonstrate working knowledge of accessibility standards and patterns (e.g., WCAG 2.x AA), including contrast, focus states, touch targets, component states (disabled/error), and inclusive interaction design. You have experience designing mobile apps, developing and maintaining Design Systems, and working with Material Design and iOS Human Interface Guidelines. You understand the challenges of building holistic products that deliver consistent experiences across iOS, Android, and Flutter platforms. You show outstanding attention to detail in your design work. You stay up to date with design tools and trends, and you have a strong interest in AI technologies and software that improve design efficiency and design-development automation. You communicate clearly and confidently, can discuss trade-offs between design options, and present ideas and designs to wider audiences. You are
