MS/ESC XC Horizontal ENE Horizontal NE is a cross‑domain engineering organization within XC, responsible for developing and scaling reusable software and platform assets across ADAS, Radar, Video, and integrated vehicle computing platforms. The organization owns horizontal topics such as base software, middleware, safety, security, compute, and engineering methods, supporting XC‑CP, XC‑CE, XC‑AC, and XC‑AS products. Horizontal NE works closely with product teams to enable standardization, reuse, and technical alignment across projects. It plays a key role in building future‑ready platforms for software‑defined vehicles, ensuring high quality, efficiency, and scalability across XC portfolios. Technical skills 2-6 years of experience in Automotive Product Security Has knowledge on Security Engineering process Has knowledge on security concepts of QNX on Qualcomm SoCs Has work experience in Security Controls: SecOC, HWIP, Secure Debug, Secure Access, Secure Flash, OS hardening (Firewall, Security Policies, filesystem security, access control), Secure Boot, TLS, IPSec. Has thorough knowledge of Crypto algorithms and their use cases. Why and what is used for which scenario? Has knowledge on HSM and has integrated HSM for Microcontroller and microprocessor environment. Can design and develop SW based on Security concept. For example what are the different SW components that would require modifications for Secure boot concept implementation. Test all the use cases required for delivering a secure system. Discuss with partners or 3rd party SW suppliers about product requirements, design acceptance test and execute it. Mandatory Qualifications Bachelor's / Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; comfortable collaborating in global teams. Soft Skills Self‑driven, proactive, and able to take ownership of modules/features end‑to‑end.
