This National Guard position is for a QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D1065000 and is part of the FL AASF 1, National Guard. AREA OF CONSIDERATION: This position is in the Excepted Federal Civil Service "under the authority of 32 U.S.C. 709" and is open to Category 1: All permanent/indefinite (T32 and T5) technicians employed by the agency Category 3: All current military members of the Florida National Guard; and Category 4: All individuals who qualify for membership in the Florida National Guard and are willing to become T32 Dual Status technicians. First consideration will be given to Category 1. PCS: Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs, MAY be authorized. Authorization for payment of PCS expenses will be granted ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard. Recruitment / Relocation: Incentive MAY be authorized. ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard. Military Grades: Enlisted: E6 thru E9 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS09 Must have at least 1-year equivalent to at least next lower grade; experience, education, or training, involving principles, techniques, and accepted practices of quality assurance work (i.e., the application of statistical sampling techniques sufficient to perform assignments or preparation of technical reports on quality levels to identify specific problems); experience in the application and theory of specialization using applicable publications; experience in the preparation of technical reports on quality levels to identify specific problem areas and to recommend corrective action; experience with assigned aircraft, component systems, and support equipment to include aircraft specifications and standards (UH60).
