About the role
We are looking for a motivated and detail‑driven Senior/ Finance Executive - Credit Administration to join our Finance team at Setia City Mall. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys working collaboratively, contributing to business success, and adding value through strong financial and credit management practices. In this role, you will play an important part in supporting accurate financial reporting and ensuring healthy cash flow for the mall. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, gaining exposure to both operational finance and tenant relationship management within a dynamic retail environment. Your duties include but are not limited to the following: Support the monthly closing process by preparing management account schedules and supporting documentation. Prepare and maintain monthly turnover reports, including rent roll, utilities, and casual mall charges. Partner with Leasing, Operations, and other departments to proactively follow up on tenants' arrears balances , particularly prior to tenancy expiry or termination. Work collaboratively with external legal service providers on the preparation and issuance of formal notices (i.e. Letter of Demand, forfeiture notice, proof of debts etc) when required. Monitor tenant accounts and provide insightful recommendations to management on potential doubtful or bad debts. Ensure timely billing and collections, with effective follow-up and well-organised documentation. Issue official receipts and monthly statements to tenants accurately and professionally. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting new ideas and practical approaches to enhance credit administration processes About You Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related At least 3 years of experience in credit administration, accounts receivable, or a similar finance role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholders. A proactive, resourceful, and positive team player who takes ownership and follows through. Well-organised, detail‑focused, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
