Essential Functions: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of product engineering components through production. Oversee team operations, including cost management, delivery methods, and staffing. Manage and mentor two or more engineering teams, including team leads and/or supervisors. Provide technical leadership by guiding architecture, design patterns, and engineering best practices. Drive the identification, enhancement, and automation of applications and systems. Define and drive AI strategy by exploring emerging tools and embedding AI across product delivery, planning, and execution. Ensure adherence to testing standards, policies, and quality assurance practices. Contribute to hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and career development to meet department goals and SLAs. Play an active role in shaping the vision, structure, and leadership of the engineering organization. Advance and mature Agile software development practices using industry best standards. Communicate team progress, risks, and solutions effectively to senior management. Support and participate in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning initiatives. Act as a key liaison between Engineering and cross-functional partners across the organization. Champion DevOps principles and foster collaboration across teams.
