Pay Range: $59,696.00 - $77,625.60 Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Position Overview Works directly with providers to implement provider scheduling to ensure maximum productivity. Coordinates scheduling of resources including exam rooms and equipment to ensure appropriate resources for each provider. Exercises discretion and judgment when scheduling staff to ensure adequate coverage in all areas, which may require cross-coverage of staff between locations. Makes recommendations to enhance growth and volume of practices. Approves all expenditures. Manages office inventory of adequate supplies and equipment. Operates in a fiscally responsible manner to achieve operational efficiency and to adhere to established policies, practices and procedures. Interacts with insurance and managed care companies and central billing office to keep current on procedures for billing and referrals. Monitors budget compliance and takes action to avoid variances above budget. Manages office accounts payable activities based on office expenditures. If working in MFM, arranges and facilitates bi-weekly case conference. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: High school diploma or GED. Bachelor's degree in business preferred. Experience: One year of experience in a healthcare office setting with supervisory duties. Knowledge and Skills: Possesses excellent organizational, interpersonal, conflict resolution, and verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of insurance (ICD-9/10 coding, CMS regulations, state/federal regulations, CLIA, DOH, OSHA regulations) preferred; Solid knowledge of and experience in billing and health insurance guidelines and practices, including commercial, CMS and managed care payers. Special Training: Solid knowledge of and ability to use electronic health records, scheduling, charging and billing systems. Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
