REQ13857 Assistant Housekeeper (Open) POSITION SUMMARY: Assistant Housekeeper is responsible for the supervision and smooth operation of the Housekeeping Department to ensure that company's service standards are met and guests are satisfied. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure the Housekeeping Department is managed efficiently in accordance with established concept statements and adhere to hotel's policies and procedures. Provide supervision for the operation of the Housekeeping Department. Monitor service and room standards. Work closely with Front Operations and Property Services Departments to ensure that rooms are blocked accordingly for maintenance purpose. Through hands on management, supervise closely all Housekeeping team members in performance of their duties in accordance with policies and procedures and applicable laws. Develop and assist with training activities focused on improving skills and knowledge. Ensure team members have a complete understanding of rules & regulations, and that behaviour complies. Monitor team members' morale and provide mechanisms for performance feedback and development. Effectively communicate guiding principles and core values to all levels of team members. Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Report accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions and / or security issues to the superiors. Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by superiors from time to time.
