Assistant Designer, Women's Bottoms - Fashion, Lot 700/300 & Denim Dressing

About the role

Support the development and communication of a cohesive design point of view rooted in Levi's® heritage and contemporary fashion. Help with design development across fit, fabric, finish, trims, embroidery, and sundries from concept through proto. Build clear, accurate, and detailed proto packs and design handoffs. Conduct market, trend, runway, and archive research to help inform seasonal concepts and platforms. Take on defined ownership areas (such as sundry/ trim development, novelty details, or smaller categories) to build reliability and creative confidence. Partner with Merchandising, Product Development, and Sourcing to support quality, aesthetic, and business alignment. Create precise garment sketches and flats using Adobe Illustrator to design intent. About You 1+ years of experience in a design environment or relevant internships or hands‑on project experience (denim experience is ideal). Aesthetic sensibility with curiosity about trends, culture, and consumer behavior. Experience with garment construction with interest in building deeper technical expertise in denim finishing. Curiosity about how products are made at scale and readiness to learn the operational side of commercial design. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator; familiarity with Photoshop and Excel is helpful. Collaborator eager to work across many teams and levels. Passion for the Levi's brand and interest in contributing to its evolution through product. This is a hybrid work schedule based in our San Francisco, CA headquarters. You will be expected in office 3 days per week typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on business needs. The expected starting salary range for this role is $69,400 - $101,800 per year . We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role.
