Senior Engineer - Mechanical (Singapore/Johor, Malaysia)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with a strong consultancy background to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and delivering data center projects , ensuring compliance with international standards and client expectations. Lead mechanical design and engineering for data center projects , including HVAC systems, chilled water systems, and other critical infrastructure. Prepare and review technical documentation , including drawings, specifications, and reports. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met. Conduct design reviews , feasibility studies, and technical evaluations. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and sustainability standards throughout the project lifecycle. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of data center project experience . Consultancy Background: Mandatory. Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Proficiency in AutoCAD and Bluebeam (required). Knowledge of other mechanical design software (e.g., Revit, CFD tools) is an advantage. Skills: Strong communication , documentation , and coordination abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, consultancy-driven environment. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
