About the role
CrowdStrike Falcon Host is a two-component security product. One component is a "sensor": software installed on client machines that observes system activity and recognizes malicious behavior, then provides on-box prevention capability and remote telemetry to the Falcon Host cloud. The sensor processes thousands of events per second to provide deep visibility into operations on the endpoint and performs rich correlation and computation to identify malicious events and blocks malicious activity. We're looking for an Engineering Manager to manage the Mac Sensor engineering team within our Endpoint Security product group. In this role, you'll work closely with the team to define and deliver on our product roadmap as well as coordinate and collaborate with other product groups within the company on Mac sensor related architecture, releases, support, and development best practices. As part of the cross-functional Endpoint Security Product group, you'll work alongside your team to design, enhance, and build numerous customer-facing features within our CrowdStrike Falcon product line including multiple static analysis-based detection and prevention capabilities, customer configured behavioral detections (custom IOAs), automated remediation, firewall management, and removable device control. We're a distributed workplace that leverages team productivity tools like Slack, Zoom, and Jira for day-to-day communication. Travel for face-to-face meetings is occasionally required and is typically used as an effective way to kick-off new projects or collaborate when working on larger initiatives. PLEASE NOTE: This role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days per week on-site at one of the posted locations.
