Position Information Hiring Manager: Managing Director, Co-Head of Global Product Group Department: Global Product Group Department Overview The Global Product Group ("GPG") is a component of the Investor Partners Group ("IPG") that is responsible for the investor product lifecycle, spanning product ideation and development, product marketing and execution, product management and reporting. The team oversees, manages and seeks to optimize the Firm's existing suite of investor products. GPG collaborates with Firm leadership and business unit leaders to plan and execute high impact projects such as new fund launches, product extensions, customized separate account vehicles and new multi-product strategic partnerships. The team also serves as the product expert for the Firm's investor product offerings. Position Responsibilities The Director will lead development and implementation efforts for innovative new products. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Leading the development and execution of sophisticated, high impact new product development and implementation initiatives Providing significant leverage to the Product Solutions Team and Firm leadership on management of investor product lines Acting as the central connective function across Tax, Legal and Compliance, Fund Accounting, Operations and other teams within IPG during product design and launch Leading the design and execution of new versions of existing products Negotiating business terms with separately managed account clients Building and maintaining financial models to determine the short-term and long-term impact of new product initiatives Developing relationships with senior executives, department heads and external partners Providing recommendations for how to solve critical business issues and distilling complex information into a user-friendly, digestible form Training and mentoring junior team members in developing high-quality work such as financial models, analyses and presentations Keeping abreast of key industry and competitive trends and how they apply to Golub Capital Candidate Requirements Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree required; CFA or MBA preferred 12+ years of experience at a top-tier financial services, investment management, consulting or private equity firm in a product development and strategy capacity Demonstrated experience in developing, structuring and launching new investment vehicles and products, preferably within private credit or alternative assets High level of intellectual curiosity with a desire to develop and implement innovative new product solutions Strong quantitative, financial modeling and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce clear, decision‑oriented materials Meticulous attention to detail, accuracy and drive to deliver high-quality work Strong project and process management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities concurrently Ability to interact with senior management and external constituents Enthusiastic about working in office and creating a Gold Standard hybrid work culture Critical Competencies for Success Our Gold Standards Model defines key behaviors and competencies across 4 dimensions: Leadership, Achieving Results, Personal Effectiveness and Thinking Critically.
