Position Overview: The Wage and Compensation Specialist provides administrative support and reports to Human Resources Management. The Wage and Compensation Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of human resource support duties including maintenance of employee files and providing customer service to internal and external clients. Job Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with the CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC. ("CCM") leadership and management team in order to provide effective HR processes and support. Support Human Resource functions, including pre-employment screenings, generating offer letters, onboarding and new hire orientation. Partner with Wage & Compensation in drafting compensation contracts and following up for completion. Serve as contact for employees and managers to answer inquiries and provide wage and compensation information. Answer questions regarding policy/procedures and any other general questions regarding wage and compensation processes. Actively champion and promote all safety-related policies and programs to ensure that colleagues are engaged and committed to a safe working environment. Maintain a confidential organized filing system for employee files, correspondence, policies, standards, regulations, and employment applications. Ensure new hires complete all tasks in Workday and sign all necessary policies. Maintain new hire data within Workday (HRIS) and provide support for employee information updates and changes. Conduct audits of various HR programs and update according to regulations and compliance. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferred. A minimum of 1-3 years' experience in human resources. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Understand methods, practices, terminology, and procedures used in human resources. Understand State and Federal laws, concerning human resources administration. Works confidentially with discretion. Read, interpret, apply and explain rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Skilled at meeting schedules and deadlines of the work area. Skilled at compiling data for correspondence or reports. Skilled at determining work priorities. Excellent communication skills.
