About the role

Additionally, the position will entail frequent travels to visit clients in their farms and productive facilities, to strengthen intimacy, a key element of RaboFinance's relationships. The main objectives and responsibilities of the position include: The acquisition of new clients within the local agribusiness market, with a special emphasis in the fruit industry. This covers every step of the process, including: origination, financial structuring and preparing proposals, collaborating in the credit applications' process, negotiation and management of key documentation, among others. To improve the profitability of the assigned client portfolio. Actively participate with the risk team in the new business evaluations and portfolio review. Work in permanent coordination with the operations, legal and risk teams to provide efficient service to clients. Actively participate in the different initiatives and projects in the Rural area.
Requirements
- Requirements for the Position - It is important that you recognize yourself in the requirements below:
- A minimum of 5 years of work experience, with at least one year of experience in commercial areas, and 2 years of experience in credit risk analysis.
- Advanced English and Spanish fluency (both written and spoken).
- University Degree in Administration, Engineering or Agricultural Economics.
- Sound credit skills for analyzing financial information, with deep understanding of lending products.
- Proactive; result oriented; excellent communication and teamwork skills; resilient under pressure; and with good critical thinking/analytical skills.
- It is considered highly desirable to possess experience and/or knowledge about the Food and Agri sector.
