As a Food and Beverage Specialist III, you will oversee the Rosen College Campus Café - an industry-focused, student-centered working lab and internship program - where you'll mentor the next generation of hospitality professionals while keeping daily café operations running at their best. Working alongside a dedicated team of faculty, chefs, and staff, you'll bring your food and beverage expertise to a one-of-a-kind academic setting where every day makes a difference. Responsibilities
Supervise, schedule, and assign duties to student interns to ensure appropriate coverage and efficient workflow.
Train students on proper procedures and food handling standards.
Assist the Director and Chefs in overseeing campus café operations and coordinating daily activities.
Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures to support efficiency and quality.
Assist with product pickup and delivery using a college vehicle.
Support Chefs in food and non-food inventory management and procurement, including use of the University Expense Card, vendor coordination, and culinary inventory systems.
Utilize the point-of-sale system for daily operations, monitor closeout reports, audit sales, and assist the finance team with revenue and sales tax reporting.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6) .
Experience in a higher education or academic learning environment.
Working knowledge of café or food service operations.
Experience supervising, mentoring, or training student workers or interns.
Knowledge of food safety standards and food handling protocols (e.g., ServSafe certification).
Proficiency with point-of-sale or café management systems.
Familiarity with scheduling and workflow coordination in a food service setting.
Experience working collaboratively with culinary professionals or chefs.

Special Instructions to the Applicants:
The anticipated hourly pay range for this position is $17.64 - $19.63. The final pay rate will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations.
Position requires a valid Class E driver's license. This position may involve driving to various locations on and off campus to conduct University business.
