Join the dynamic team of Performance Tracking and Analytics Department within the Performance Management & Analytics (PMA) division where you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects with different departments using a variety of tools and datasets. Within NYCHA, Performance Management & Analytics (PMA) provides best-in-class business analytic support to help Executive Staff and Departments successfully execute long-term strategic goals and achieve day-to-day operational effectiveness and efficiency. In addition to serving as the primary reporting and analytics unit within NYCHA, our department also ensures compliance with reporting for HUD and New York City, and promotes a data driven culture that improves decision making at all levels of the Authority. The Performance Tracking and Analytics Department (PTAD) provides support to departments throughout the agency through quantitative data analysis, qualitative research, and reporting & analytics, including policy impact forecasting, geospatial analytics, compliance reporting, and research collaborations. Under the direction of the Chief of Reporting and Analytics, with latitude for the exercise of independent judgment and initiative, specific duties shall include, but not be limited to the following: 1. Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly Leased Housing reports. 2. Provide statistical analyses, written trends and/or reports to inform the Executive Department of the Leased Housing Department's performance in key areas. 3. Respond to various data requests related to the Section 8 portfolio and resident demographics using SQL queries to pull the data and statistical tools such as SAS, Power BI, etc. to present the findings. 4. Conduct longitudinal studies of the Section 8 administrative data. 5. Compile data for the Section 8 portion of mandated reports such as the Annual Plan, Consolidated Plan, Social Indicators Report, etc. 6. Assist the Director with the development, implementation and monitoring of special projects including trend analysis of Section 8 demographics, development and analysis of performance metrics. 7. Provide ad hoc statistical analyses, written trend and/or reports to assist senior and Executive staff with policy decisions such as Fair Market Rent or Utility Allowance impact analyses. 8. Work with the Information Technology Department to create dashboards for the Leased Housing Department. 9. Assist business units in the planning, design, and implementation of special initiatives involving statistical research. 10. Perform other duties as assigned. 11. Assist department leadership with special projects as needed.
