The Site Safety Manager performs overall safety management and support functions for a local construction project. The position will focus on a 1 to 2 year project. This individual works directly with the project team to ensure compliance with safety and environmental procedures. Also working closely with the Risk Management Department to mitigate claims by ensuring Safety is a priority on the project. Reporting directly to the Regional Safety Director or Regional Safety Manager, the Site Safety Manager administers the Clune Safety Policy and provides direction for the Clune Safety Program. Essential Functions: - Act as an internal consultant to all company business units with respect to safety. - Ensure Clune employee, trade partner, vistor and vendor compliance with Clune safety guidelines, project requirements, local, state, and national regulations. - Work with the project team and Regional Safety Director or Manager to ensure safety programs and protocols for the project meet and/or exceed client safety requirements. - Ensure all required client safety documentation has been provided to our trade partners. - Review, audit and file all required client safety documentation. - Provide updated safety statistics for client upon request. - Provide safety guidance in the planning stages for project. - Coordinate, manage and/or conduct safety education programs for Clune Management, Supervision, and Employees. - Attend and contribute to company and project safety meetings. - Attend outside training for added designations and to keep up with changes in the industry. - Role model professionally for Clune employees, trade partners, visitors and vendors. Supervisory Responsibilities: - This role is responsible for supervision and mentoring of Safety Personnel who works on their project.
