Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a skilled Java Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. This role involves creating robust Java backend services supported by modern web interfaces. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features, enhance system performance, and support continuous integration and deployment, enabling organizational growth and digital innovation.
Software Requirements
Required:
Proficiency in Java (latest stable versions, 8+), including Java EE, Spring, Hibernate, and Struts frameworks
Hands-on experience with front-end technologies such as React.js, Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)
Experience developing and consuming RESTful web services and APIs
Strong knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server) and data management best practices
Version control expertise with Git (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket)
Experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions
Preferred:
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for deployment and supporting cloud-native architectures
Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) and front-end testing tools (Jest, Enzyme)
Overall Responsibilities
Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications using Java and front-end frameworks
Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI teams, and backend developers to translate requirements into technical solutions
Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following established coding standards and best practices
Conduct code reviews and optimize existing codebases for performance and maintainability
Support deployment, environment management, and automation of build/test pipelines
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, system bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities
Ensure application scalability, security, and high availability in line with enterprise standards
Stay current with emerging technologies and incorporate best practices into development cycles

Programming Languages:
Required: Java (8+), JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3
Preferred: TypeScript, additional scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation
Frameworks & Libraries:
Spring Boot, Hibernate, Struts, React.js, Angular, REST API development, Mockito/JUnit (preferred)
Databases & Data Management:
MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server; experience with query optimization and data modeling

Prior experience supporting cloud deployments, containerized environments, or microservices architecture is advantageous
Industry experience in finance, banking, or enterprise IT preferred but not mandatory
Day-to-Day Activities
Design, develop, and optimize backend Java modules and APIs supporting business processes
Build responsive and interactive web interfaces with React.js or Angular
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to gather requirements, plan solutions, and improve system performance
Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning activities
Support CI/CD pipeline automation, cloud deployments, and environment configurations
Troubleshoot live system issues, diagnose root causes, and implement fixes proactively
Document architecture, code, test cases, and deployment procedures
Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
