The purpose of this role is to drive business growth and profitability by building and maintaining relationships with key retail and wholesale brokers and shaping and executing on our distribution strategy.
Responsibilities
Build and enhance awareness of QBE's offerings and value propositions with brokers within assigned geography with a focus on office leaders and account executives
Manage a portfolio of national broker relationships
Serve as a primary point of contact for retail and wholesale brokers within the region, building trusted relationships that promote growth and retention
Act as a liaison to one or more our underwriting product teams to the North American Distribution team
Facilitate regional pipelining discussions for global brokers and associated follow up activities, working closely with assigned underwriting leaders
Develop and grow databases of regional broker contacts and target accounts in coordination with the Distribution analytics team

Experience in relationship management and/or business development
Proficiency in using data and analytics to inform decision-making and measure success
Ability to negotiate, persuade, and influence both directly and indirectly

Necessary Qualifications include:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
10+ years of Commercial and Specialty Insurance experience
