Participate in the development cycle by scoping and executing assigned tasks, from source code development to testing and verification.
Manage personal workload to ensure on-time delivery of tasks and minor functional enhancements.
Define product configuration policies for Security industry regulations (for instance: NIAP OSPP , Australian Essential 8 ).
Implement the full automated security policies for system scanning(sample report ) and remediation purposes.
Contribute to Compliance as a Code testing and development efforts.
Support RHEL product certifications (example: SCAP-1.3 ).
Productize our Security Compliance Solutions in Red Hat products
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback on architectural proposals .
Collaborate openly with engineers across functions to resolve issues that cross component boundaries .
Requirements
Language experience: strong Python, Bash
Familiarity with CI systems and source code control tools (Git, GitHub, GitLab)
Hands-on experience as a Linux / Unix administrator or power user/ strong understanding of Linux ecosystem security
Experience with structured execution of projects
Ability and desire to learn new technologies
Cyber Security engineer work experience is a plus
Open Minded to learn languages (C/C++, GoLang) is a plus
Willingness to explore and implement Agentic-AI approach
