We are currently hiring a Manufacturing Quality Control Technician to perform Quality Control functions in our Groveland, FL manufacturing facility. Note: Satisfactory background check, and negative drug screen required SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 6 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Some overtime required We are looking for: Hard working individuals, wanting to excel in their profession Strong organizational and electrical skills Self-starting team player with a positive attitude and good communication Considers attendance & punctuality a priority Responsibilities include: Understanding the relevant product line, being able to grasp a wide variety of detailed specifications Sufficiently testing said product line, inspecting each product for established points of quality Maintaining a knowledge of expected properties and specifications within the testing process Ensuring all products are free from defects and stand by their work, never compromising on quality Using QC module software to locate jobs, specific products, and complete QC inspection surveys Using test equipment and maintaining functionality Supporting their product lines, keeping steady flow through efficient testing Staying diligent on communication through emails, QC module updates, and supervisors Covers 1 product line Performs final inspection and functional testing for product line Fills in as operator for product line when there is nothing to QC Is cross-trained to know a second and third product line to fill in for quality tech Helps to ensure quality across all stations on product line Works with quality engineers to execute QA/QC procedures Completes QC photos and scanning responsibilities on completed product Inspection of product can include physical checks and electrical checks Be the champion for quality on the line and a resource to help other stations with product questions Develop product knowledge to independently troubleshoot units Log all internal quality issues and completed product survey through QMS Report to the Quality Manager (QM) Preferred: 3 to 4 years' work experience (preferred) Attention to detail, safety and quality. Ability to work with controls and quality check instruments. Basic Microsoft Office/Windows knowledge is required. Capable of solving problems and using good judgment in making decisions. Ability to read and work from prints, schematics, and technical bulletins. Ability to read tape measures and use good rudimentary math skills Capable of lifting 50 lbs. and standing on concrete for extended periods of time. Physical stamina and strength EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent required. SALARY: Competitive wages based on experience Monthly bonus based on productivity and profits Sign-on bonus paid on 1st payroll after 90 days and after 6 months
